Welcome to Select Safaris Africa (“we,” “us,” “our”), operated by Peak Ventures LTD. These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your use of our web application, digital content, and our travel booking and tour services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing our Site or submitting a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use our Service.

1. DEFINITIONS

For purposes of this Agreement: “Guest,” “client,” “you,” “your” refers to any user of our Site or any purchaser of our travel services. “Service” refers to all travel-related services offered by Select Safaris Africa, including safaris, accommodation bookings, guided tours, transportation, permits, and any associated arrangements. “Supplier” refers to third-party providers such as hotels, lodges, airlines, transport companies, national parks, and activity operators. “Booking” refers to any confirmed reservation made through our Service.

2. SCOPE OF SERVICE

Select Safaris Africa designs, arranges, and provides guided tours and related travel services in East Africa, specifically: Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda and Tanzania. We act both as: a direct service provider (for tours and operational services we run), and a booking agent for third-party suppliers. When acting as an agent, the relevant supplier’s terms and conditions apply, and you agree to be bound by them in addition to this Agreement.

3. ELIGIBILITY

To use or purchase services through Select Safaris Africa, you must: Be at least 18 years old; Possess legal capacity to enter into binding contracts; Provide accurate and truthful information; Agree to comply with all laws applicable in the jurisdictions visited.

4. BOOKING AND PAYMENT

A booking is only confirmed once: A deposit or full payment has been received, and A written confirmation has been issued by Select Safaris Africa. Prices are subject to change until full payment is received. You are responsible for ensuring that all personal details provided (names, passport details, dates) are correct. Failure to complete full payment by the specified deadline may result in automatic cancellation of your booking, subject to our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

5. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES

You are solely responsible for: Valid passports, Entry visas, Vaccinations and health certificates, Travel insurance, Compliance with immigration, customs, and health regulations. Select Safaris Africa is not liable for losses arising from failure to meet these requirements.

6. SAFETY & CONDUCT

Guests must follow the instructions of guides, drivers, lodge personnel, and relevant authorities at all times. We reserve the right to remove any guest from a tour without refund if their behavior: Endangers themselves or others, Causes excessive disturbance, Violates laws or protected area rules. Wildlife encounters are inherently unpredictable; we do not guarantee sightings.

7. HEALTH REQUIREMENTS

Guests must disclose any medical conditions that may affect their participation. Select Safaris Africa may refuse participation if it believes the guest’s condition poses a risk to themselves or others.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Select Safaris Africa shall not be liable for: Personal injury, illness, or death, Loss or damage to personal property, Delays, cancellations, or schedule changes by suppliers, Acts or omissions of third-party suppliers, Force Majeure events. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

9. INSURANCE

Travel insurance covering medical care, personal accident, trip cancellation, theft, and evacuation is strongly recommended. We shall not be liable for costs recoverable through insurance.

10. THIRD-PARTY SUPPLIERS

Where services are rendered by a third party: We act as an agent only. Their terms supersede ours where applicable. We are not responsible for their acts, omissions, or insolvency.

11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on the Select Safaris Africa website—including logos, text, images, itineraries, and designs—is the intellectual property of Peak Ventures LTD. Unauthorised use, copying, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

12. PRIVACY

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, store, use, and share your data. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in that Policy.

13. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS

Select Safaris Africa reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through our website or via email, and take effect 30 days after notification.

14. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Burundi, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By using our Service, submitting a booking, or accessing our Site, you acknowledge that: You have read and fully understood these Terms & Conditions. You agree to be legally bound by them.
